Great job David McBride and Portia Bordelon! David received the most Groton Town Council votes. Mystic and Groton residents can rejoice because David received the most votes in Groton during last week’s Town Council election. David is poised to become Groton's next mayor! Excellent job Portia; so glad to see you do so well also! David has excellent business and financial management skills; he has great character and social skills, but most importantly, he and Portia listen to the Mystic and Groton community. I am very pleased to see David captured more votes than Rachel Franco who does not support Mystic. She has often said, "Mystic has enough" and does not support funding for Mystic. The skills David possesses combined with Portia will make a great team. Onward and upward Mystic!
