The Day’s online digital archive certainly not free

As an online subscriber with an interest in history, I was very happy and excited to read "The Day's digital archive 142 years of history at your fingertips. Search for FREE here." What a fabulous and generous opportunity to discover perhaps a bit more truths than the fantasies that word-of-mouth stories become. Until of course you actually press the very convenient link that says, Day access for 6 months is $19.95 and $7.95 for a single month. Further checking led me to discover The Day maintains access for three years. More than that you can go to the New London Library. The access referred to in the notice on the paper is by a private company and it is most certainly not free. I am not complaining, but suggesting that the notice be changed to reflect more truth than deception.
