Headline reaches new low

What a deplorable headline. The Day Monday, Jan. 15, headline reads: "Trump: Iowa is about payback." Not about the deficit, not about the high cost of living, not about the housing crisis or about any other meaningful political issue — but instead The Day's key news banner promulgated a campaign message of revenge. Our political culture has descended into a new nadir. What is dismaying is no one seems to be able to put any brakes on this frightening decline.
