    Conspiracy theory and Trump

I was reading David Collins’ article in Sunday's (Feb. 4) paper, “UConn protects conspiracy theorist on faculty,” and was enlightened to the fact that, according to Collins, I am apparently a stupid, no, a really stupid, person since I did not complete college and I support Donald Trump over the current occupant of the White House.

Although occasionally David's columns do root out corruption and dirty deeds in our state and local governments, the main reason I read them is to see what he has blamed on the former president this week. I understand that Mr. Collins cannot fathom why the people of this country do not all agree with his hatred of Donald Trump, but by calling a large group of Americans who decided to skip the college route and go to work "really stupid" reminds me of Hillary Clinton's "Deplorables" name calling. That didn't work out too well at the polls either!
