Lack of support for Shore Line East

I find it surprising that Governor Lamont, who purports to be working toward reducing carbon emissions, would not support the use of public transportation to reduce the number of cars on the road. I am specifically referring to his lack of support for Shoreline East. If ridership is not high enough, the solution is to increase ridership through marketing and incentives, not by reducing the number of trains to make it even less usable.

Trains should actually be extended to Norwich and Groton to allow people to commute to EB which needs more workers. Would he ever consider cutting trains between New Haven and New York? Residents of Eastern Connecticut should matter as much as those living on the other side of the Connecticut River. Please let him know how you feel by sending him a letter or a message through his portal. I already have.
