Voice for babies in the womb

Finally, the other side is heard from — babies in the embryonic stage as a result of the Alabama Supreme Court’s ruling equating frozen embryos with children. It’s very sad that these babies died; extremely sad for the parents. But this unfortunate situation in Alabama gave “voice” to these babies.

In print newspapers, TV and online, the point of view regarding abortion is 99% slanted towards the mothers, who for various reasons do not want to continue a pregnancy. What about the babies in utero? How can babies in the embryonic stage be humans in the in-vitro lab, but if deliberately aborted, are not humans? When do we start to look forward to the birth of a baby? Is it when the baby is born? No, it’s the nine months before when we know a baby is developing in the womb whether the conception is through intercourse or in vitro. The life of the mother and that of the pre-born baby should be given equal consideration before abortion is contemplated.
