What a wonderful article highlighting Blissworks Yoga & Healing Arts Studio in The Day, “Longtime New London yoga studio enters home stretch.”

As soon as one walks into Blissworks, the peace, love and laughter is palpable in this sacred space; and thus the health and healing begins. Trish Reyburn had a vision, believed in herself, and built a healthy, welcoming sanctuary for yoga and the healing arts. In addition to being a loving, creative woman, she has been an outstanding role model for women entrepreneurs.

One definition of entrepreneur is "An individual who creates a new business, bearing most of the risk and enjoying most of the rewards." The truth is, in this case, it is the community that has enjoyed the rewards of her presence in New London and beyond. Blissworks is much more than a business. Over the years, many people have benefited from Trish's creative intuition, and her invitation to masterful professionals of varied specialties to share their expertise.

If, indeed, Blissworks does close, it will truly leave a hole in the heart of people of New London and surrounding communities. I, for one, am hopeful that will not happen. No matter what the future holds, “Trish, thank you for sharing your vision for the greater good.”
