One of Stonington’s best features, of course, is the fact that it’s located on the water. DuBois Beach (pictured) at the end of Water Street in the Borough is always a popular location, whether it’s for swimming in the summer or just taking in the sights all year long. You could grab a kayak and head to Barn Island boat launch off Palmer Neck Road. If you prefer a hike, Stonington has you covered, too. You could try, for instance, the Pafford Woods trails off North Main Street.
