    NL, Norwich, Stonington parking bans in effect

    Due to the significant amount of snowfall expected in Southeastern Connecticut, the winter parking ban takes effect in New London at noon today, the New London Police Department announced.The ban will continue until snow plows have ended plowing operations. When the ban is in effect, there is no parking on any streets in the downtown area. Where parking is posted on one side of the street, follow posted regulations. If parking is permitted on both sides of the street, park on the odd side of the street.

Vehicles not moved off the street will be ticketed and towed. Stonington Borough residents should observe snow parking ban restrictions on Water, Main and Elm Streets.
