Westerly gastroenterologist discusses cancer screening

Westerly - Gastroenterologist Dr. Pamela Connors of Gastroenterology Specialists Inc. will present a free community education program from 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 27 at the Westerly Hospital’s Nardone Conference Center.

She will discuss the importance of screening for this cancer and the ease of screening procedures. She will review preventive measures, treatment options and important warning signs and symptoms. A question-and-answer session will follow.
