East Lyme High club to hold Haiti Benefit Dinner

East Lyme — East Lyme High School’s Club H.E.L.P. (Helping Everyone Living in Poverty) will hold its annual Haiti Benefit Dinner from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 3 at the high school.

All proceeds from the dinner will go to the Haitian Health Foundation. The dinner will include live entertainment from student performers: Sweet Harmony (an all-girls a cappella group), Noah Feldman (a rock and rhythm guitarist/singer) and Lauren Fredricksen (pop vocalist).

The club’s goal is to send 100 percent of proceeds from fundraisers to foundations and nonprofits around the world that serve and care for people living in poverty.

The dinner will be donated from local restaurants and will include pasta, salad, bread, refreshments and dessert. Tickets are $7 for adults and $6 for students. Admission is free for children under 3.
