Traffic Stop Brings Early Morning Drug Bust
On Thursday, May 3 at 1:31 a.m., members of the Madison Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Nortontown Road and Wildwood Avenue, Madison, for a violation of Connecticut General Statutes 14-236: Failure to Drive in the Proper Lane. The vehicle was occupied by three individuals, one of whom is a juvenile. Two of the individuals were placed under arrest.
A substantial amount of cash; multiple types of narcotics, including marijuana, LSD, hashish, and Opiates; and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia were recovered within the vehicle, and on the person of the individuals within the vehicle.
