Magnet school benefit set for Friday

New London - A Regional Multicultural Magnet School Foundation benefit, May 711 HEART and More (Helping Education Through Art), will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Crocker House Ballroom in downtown New London.

The annual fundraiser includes a silent auction, accompanied by libations, food and entertainment, and provides support for the Regional Multicultural Magnet School Foundation, which is funded primarily through proceeds of this event.

Tickets are $40 (two for $75) and available at the RMMS, 1 Bulkeley Place, or by calling (860) 437-7775.
