Stonington  - The Highway Department is scheduled to pave Greenhaven Road from Route 1 to the railroad bridge in late June and early July. Crews will begin working on the section of road in the coming weeks to begin preparations for the project.

Sometime in mid-to-late June, the highway department will have to close off Greenhaven Road to through traffic from Route 1 to Lindsay Lane for one day. Public Works Director Joe Bragaw said he will publicize the date when his department receives a definitive date. He said his department will do its best during construction to minimize any disturbances to properties and traffic. Anyone with questions can call the Highway Department at (860) 535-5055.
