Montville police to conduct sobriety checkpoint Thursday night

Montville – Town police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint Thursday night and into Friday morning and will be assisted by several other local police agencies.
Police said the checkpoint will be run using some funds from a 2012 Comprehensive DUI Enforcement grant. The town received a total of $74,200 in grant funding for 2012.
Montville police will be assisted by other members of the Southeastern Connecticut Regional Traffic Enforcement team, including the East Lyme, Norwich, Groton City and Waterford police departments.
