Norwich - The William W. Backus Hospital offers a monthly support group on the second Tuesday of each month for cancer patients, survivors and their families.

The upcoming session, from 5 to 6 p.m. June 12, will address handling fear of reoccurrence. It will take place in the hospital’s main lobby conference room No. 1. Light refreshments will be served.

Elynor Carey, a social worker in the Backus Care Management Department, will lead the group. Each month the program focuses on a different topic.
