Backus offering monthly cancer support group

Norwich – The William W. Backus Hospital is offering a monthly support group on the second Tuesday of each month for cancer patients, survivors and their families.

The topic of the upcoming session, from 5 to 6 p.m. July 10, will be communicating with health care providers. It will take place in the hospital’s main lobby conference room 1. Light refreshments will be served. Elynor Carey, a social worker in the Backus Care Management Department, leads the group.
