New London — The City of New London Office of Development & Planning is partnering with New London Landmarks and the Office of the Arts for a special event Saturday at the Riverside Park.

The first Art Jam, led by Derron Wood,  will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the park.

Flock Theater will be making masks with the public at 10 a.m. and there will be a march to the Old Town Mill, at 12:30 p.m. a for ribbon-cutting ceremony in honor of the renovations to the flume and electrical pumping system there.

If necessary, transportation will be available between Riverside Park and the Old Town Mill.

The Old Town Mill will be open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

The public is invited to visit the restored mill and its water wheel and flume.
