Norwich - The Norwich Human Services Safety Net Team is seeking donations of backpacks and school supplies for its annual “Back Pack It To School Program,” which provides new backpacks and school supplies to underprivileged Norwich children, pre-school through high school age.

The program is in its 15th year and last year served 748 children. To donate backpacks or school supplies to the program or to volunteer to assemble the backpacks, contact Norwich Human Services at (860) 823-3778.
