Lyme — The public library has acquired two Kindle e-book readers, two Nook Touch e-book readers and two iPads that are available for use by patrons with valid Lyme Public Library cards.
The devices were purchased through a grant from the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut.
Patrons can check out the e-book readers — preloaded with best-selling titles and with new titles added periodically — for two weeks. The iPads are for use within the library only.
Patrons must sign a user agreement and agree to abide by library policies before checking out the devices. For more information, contact the library at (860) 434-2272.
