Preston crash injures four

Preston — Four people were taken to The William W. Backus Hospital tonight after a two-car crash that closed the intersection of Route 12 and 2A for a short time.

The 9:45 crash involved a Rose City taxi cab and a Dodge sedan, both of which sustained heavy damage. Preston City Fire Chief Tom Casey said none of the injuries appeared to be life threatening.
