Trail system fundraiser set for Tuesday
Ledyard — The Paddock Tack Shop will host the first annual fundraising event for the TriTown Trail Tuesday.
The TriTown Trail is a proposed trail system from Bluff Point Park in Groton through Ledyard to Preston Community Park on Route 117 in Preston.
The event is sponsored by the Ledyard Rotary Foundation, The Paddock, Inc. and the TriTown Trail Association. Running from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., it will feature a silent auction, door prizes, food and beverages and a trail presentation.
Reservations can be made by calling (860) 464-1559. A $15 dollar donation is requested. The Paddock Tack Shop is located at 55 Rose Hill Road in Ledyard.
