For the sixth year the Rotary Club of East Haven served a free, full-coure Thanksgiving residents to residents. In addition to serving dinner, the club offered ready-to-pick-up meals and delivery. The club reported they had distributed over 100 meals before noon on Thursday.

According to representatives from the Rotar Club this was the largest amount of meals provided in the past 6 years. One delivery of about a dozen meals was sent to the Quality Inn on Frontage Road were a number of residents who were displaced from their homes due to Superstorm Sandy, were staying. These included a number from the badly damaged apartment building on Coe Ave.

All the full course meals were purchased from the Boston Market on Frontage Road, who provided everything needed including utensils and fully cooked turkeys. The Market provided their services to the club at a very attractive price, which is invaluable to the success of the event.
