Preston school officials cut short February vacation

Preston – School officials have eliminated the scheduled vacation day on Tuesday, Feb. 19 to recover one of the school days lost to Superstorm Sandy.

Preston lost four school days to the Oct. 28 storm that knocked out power to most of Preston for nearly a week.

Feb. 19 was part of a mini-vacation that included the weekend and President’s Day on Monday.
