    More December Programs at Guilford Free Library

    Special Programs

    Registration is required for these programs, but they are open to all. They are funded by the Friends of the Library.

    **Annual Preschool Sing-a-Long: Friday, Dec. 14 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Children and their parents are invited to share a joyous song time with the Keynotes from E.C. Adams Middle School, followed by a visit from Santa. For children aged 3 to 5; registration is required.

    Drop-In Programs

    These programs are open to all and registration is not required.

    'Greetings All Day' Drop-in Craft: Wednesday, Dec. 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. New this year! Make a holiday greeting card-one to keep and one to share with local rehab center residents. Registration is not required; for children of all ages.

    Drop-in Vacation Stories: Wednesday, Dec. 26; Thursday, Dec. 27; Wednesday, Jan. 2; and Thursday, Jan. 3 from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Children and their parents join for special stories from the library's storytelling collection. Registration is not required and the story times are open to all ages.

    Drop-in Vacation Board Games: Thursday, Dec. 27 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Play favorite games with friends all day long. Pick up games at the children's desk.

    Drop-in Vacation Movie: Friday, Dec. 28 from 11 to 12:15 p.m. The Last Unicorn-a lonely unicorn searches for others like herself. Go with her on this fantastic adventure. Recommended for ages 4 and older.

    Drop-in Vacation Playtime: Friday, Dec. 28 from 2 to 3 p.m. "Pop-in-play" for parents, children, and friends in the play area of the children's room.

    Registration for Winter Programs begins Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at 9 a.m.
