Lyme home burglarized Monday morning

Lyme — A house on 94 Joshuatown Road was burglarized Monday between 10 and 11 a.m., police reported.
The burglars forced open the house's door and stole items that included jewelry, according to the police.
Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to call Trooper Matlock at (860) 391-2100.
In a message on its website, the town advised residents to be vigilant and contact the police if they see unusual activity. The town also reminded residents to lock vehicles and refrain from leaving valuables in them, if the vehicles are parked outside.
