Mystic bridge closure delayed due to storm

Mystic - The Mystic River Bridge closing has been rescheduled to start at noon Monday and continue through March 13th because of the impending storm, a state Department of Transportation spokesman said today.

The planned 54-hour closing was scheduled to start today. The temporary closure is required to install a vehicle barrier gate system that spans Route 1 on the Stonington side of the bridge.
