New London - Lawrence + Memorial’s Rehabilitation Services Department will host a free child development screenings from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 23 at the Professional Development Center at the main hospital.

Licensed therapists will observe children from 9 months to 7 years. Therapists will answer any development-related questions, too. The screenings are appropriate for children with poor handwriting skills, difficulty eating, difficulty talking, difficulty walking/crawling, poor coordination, and trouble following directions. Registration by March 19 is required.
