UPDATED: Gallivan Lane reopened in Montville after car accident

Montville – A motor vehicle accident Wednesday involving a snapped utility pole closed a portion of Gallivan Lane for about an hour, police say.
The accident was reported at about 4 p.m. in the area of the ball field off Route 32. No injuries were initially reported.
The road was reopened shortly before 5 p.m. with Connecticut Light & Power crews on scene working to replace the utility pole. Details of the accident were not immediately available.
