Special Preston town meeting to be held Thursday

Preston – A special town meeting will be held Thursday at Town Hall to vote on the Board of Selectmen’s recommended reappointments of two members to five-year terms on the Preston Redevelopment Agency.
The town meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Town Hall to renew the terms PRA members Joseph Biber and John Harris. If approved, their terms would run through June 30, 2018.
A 2009 town ordinance that established the PRA gives residents the authority to approve appointments to the agency.
