New London library reducing hours

New London — The Public Library of New London is reducing its hours on Wednesdays due to cuts in its 2013-14 budget.

The library will be closed Wednesday mornings, opening at 1 p.m., according to library director Susanne Maryeski.

Regular hours are 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 1-7 p.m. Wednesday; 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
