Norwich – The city Registrars of Voters office will hold a special voter registration session from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27 to register voters.

A Democrat Primary for mayor will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Only registered Democrats are eligible to vote in the primary.

For new voters registering as Democrats, mail-in applications must be postmarked or received by Thursday, Sept. 5 to eligible to vote in the primary.

For unaffiliated voters wishing to change party affiliation, the mail-in application must be received by Thursday, Sept. 5 in to be eligible to vote in the primary.

Any unaffiliated voter who is changing party affiliation and wishes to register in person may do so until noon on Monday, Sept. 9.
