Backus Hospital to host free prostate cancer screening Nov. 9

Norwich - The William W. Backus Hospital will host a free prostate cancer screening clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 9 in the hospital’s Ambulatory Medical Care Center, which is off the main lobby.

Appointments are required. To register, call (860) 889-8331, extension 6381.

Urologists Dr. Franklin Friedman and Dr. T. Casey McCullough, both members of the Backus medical staff, will be performing the screenings. Blood will be drawn for the PSA test. Results will be ready in one week.
