Groton youth charged after bringing pellet gun to school

Groton – City police on Friday charged a 13-year-old for allegedly bringing an Airsoft gun, a brand of pellet gun, to school.

The unidentified juvenile was charged with possession of a firearm on school grounds and second-degree reckless endangerment.

Police provided no further details but said the arrest was made on Sacred Heart Drive, the location of the Sacred Heart School.
