New London - The Connecticut Family Support Network – Southeast, L+M Parent’s Group, will meet at 6 p.m. Jan. 8 to present a program about planning and placement team and individual education plan meetings, commonly called PPTs and IEPS.

Parents can learn what goes into their child’s PPT and IEP, how to request these meetings for their children, how to have an effective IEP developed for their child and what to do if the plans created do not help their child.
