    The Guilford Parks and Recreation Department is putting a call out to area residents and restaurants who would like to be part of the 3

    Annual Chili cook off in town, which will be held on January 26, at the Community Center. The free event, designed as a winter community gathering, getting people out and together to catch up with friends and enjoy a weekend gathering in town, is in need of more participants.

    “We will have prizes for first second and third place,” explained Parks and Recreation Department Director Rick Maynard. “In addition we will have music from the local band ‘Take Two and Call Me in the Morning,’ as well as a dessert cook off for the kids.”
