Mystic — Justice of the Peace  Marie Tyler-Wiley will carry on her Valentine’ Day tradition of performing free wedding ceremonies for couples on Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  at the Meeting House in Olde Mistick Village.

Couples must present an official wedding license from the Town of Stonington.  Licenses can be obtained at Stonington Town Hall, weekdays from  8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“On the most romantic day of the year, I love to give couples who are ready to take the plunge, but may have limited resources, a special and unique wedding experience” said Tyler-Wiley who is performing the free weddings for the sixth year in a row.

Olde Mistick Village offers the space free of charge each year. For the first time, a professional photographer will be on hand and couples can purchase photographs if they choose.
