After more than two decades of service to the Clinton business community, Clinton Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ellen Cavanagh this morning announced her resignation.

“After struggling with the decision making process, I have decided to turn in my resignation as executive director. It has been a pleasure and wonderful life experience to work with you all over the years,” she wrote in an email addressed to Chamber Board of Directors members and friends.

Cavanagh has expressed willingness to stay on until the board finds a suitable replacement. The board plans to meet next week to begin the recruitment process.
