New London - The main lobby of Lawrence + Memorial Hospital will be closed to visitors on Sunday.

The L+M facilities team will be removing a large piece of equipment from the hospital, and the main lobby and main entrance area are needed in order to do that, the hospital said in an announcement today.

Employees and visitors are asked to use either the Faire Harbour (Emergency Room) or Ambulatory Care Center (just to the right of main entrance) entrance.

The main entrance and lobby will reopen Monday morning, the hospital said.
