Teenager dies after collapsing at Mystic YMCA

Stonington police confirmed Sunday that a 14-year-old boy, who was a resident of Waterford, died on March 24 after collapsing on a basketball court at the YMCA in Mystic.
Police were called at 8:04 p.m. and the boy was immediately transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, according to Sgt. Louis Giamanti.
Police are not releasing further details at this time.
