Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash in Guilford Thursday Night

Guilford Police and EMS responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 900 block of Durham Road at 10 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014.

Report received was of one car off the road into the woods with an occupant ejected from the vehicle. Upon arrival, EMS personnel worked to resuscitate one male who was ejected from the Ford Ranger pickup truck. The male was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital where he died of his injuries. His name is being withheld at this time.

The crash is currently under investigation by members of the Guilford Police Crash Investigation Unit.
