Westerly — The Westerly Hospital will sponsor a free discussion on osteoarthritis pain from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the senior center, 39 State St.

Rebecca Farnlof, associate vice president of public health and advocacy for the New England Region Arthritis Foundation, will share strategies to prevent and relieve pain, including medication, speaking with your physician, sleep tips and changing self talk, and will share safe exercises for pain management. No registration is necessary.
