Arthritis exercise program offered at Westerly Hospital
Westerly — The Westerly Hospital will offer a six-week arthritis exercise program at the Westerly Senior Center, 39 State St.
The class is open to anyone living with any type of arthritis. Classes will meet on Mondays and Thursdays beginning March 7 from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
Classes will include health education, exercise for motion, strengthening, endurance and balance, and will be taught by licensed physical and occupational therapists and physical therapy assistants from the hospital.
The cost for the 6-week program is $35 and space is limited to 20 participants.
