Students from the Interdistrict School for Arts And Communication do some incline push ups Friday morning on Parade Plaza in downtown New London as part of the school's Early Bird Exercise Program. The program gets students together for a half-hour of exercise downtown before the start of the school day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The ISAAC school is a charter middle school in the former YMCA building on Governor Winthrop Boulevard. (Sean D. Elliot/The Day) Buy Photo Reprints
