    Lyme-Old Lyme High School students honored

    Caleigh O’Neil, left, and Graham Aird, right, were honored Nov. 28 by Region 18 Superintendent Ian Neviaser, center, and the Connecticut Association for Public School Superintendents for their leadership, academics and service abilities.

    Two students at Lyme-Old Lyme High School were honored by the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents for their leadership, academic prowess and community service.

    Caleigh O’Neil and Graham Aird received the Superintendent/Student Recognition Award at a ceremony Nov. 28 at Saybrook Point Inn. Regional School District 18 Superintendent Ian Neviaser gave a presentation recognizing the students’ acheivements.

    O’Neil is an honor roll student, Girl Scout and accomplished rower and soccer player. Aird is the secretary for the Class of 2017 and a leader on his soccer, basketball and golf teams. Both students are members of the National Honor Society.
