Body found at Lisbon boat launch; no foul play suspected

Lisbon — State police in Montville are investigating an untimely death in Lisbon after receiving a report that a body was found at the Shetucket River boat launch on South Burnham Highway-Route 169 at 7:05 a.m. Saturday.

State police spokeswoman Trooper Kelly Grant said as of Saturday afternoon, “there is no criminal aspect” to the case. The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection was notified, she said.
