Make a Difference: Stonington Human Services

WHO: Doug and his wife, Courtney, (both in their 30s) and their 3-year-old son, Michael.

    AGENCY: Stonington Human Services

THEIR SITUATION: Doug, Courtney and Michael live in Pawcatuck. Doug has been undergoing treatment for terminal cancer for the past two years. Since his diagnosis, Doug has been unable to work, as his team of doctors have determined that he will have to fight this disease with an aggressive treatment regimen for the rest of his life — leaving him permanently disabled. Though Courtney works as much as she can, they are struggling to make ends meet.

WHAT TO GIVE: Monetary donations to this family would help pay monthly household bills. Grocery and gas cards would also assist their situation greatly.
