Spreading holiday cheer
About 50 members of the Stonington Garden Club including Kay Graham of Stonington, gather at the Stonington Community Center to create over 200 holiday centerpieces to be distributed at local nursing facilities on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017.
The organization has participated in the tradition for over 30 years. The planters will be delivered and donated to Mystic Healthcare and Rehab, Mystic River Residential Care, Apple Rehab and Avalon Health Center.
