Kristina White was recently appointed as the new executive director for the Lyme Land Conservation Trust. White, a longtime Lyme resident, has been an active member since 2014 and has most recently served as the administrative director of Musical Masterworks and treasurer of the Lyme Fire Company.

White will take over for retiring director George Moore, who has served on the board since 2003 and became the first executive director in 2013. He will be named director emeritus, the first person to hold the position created in honor of his service.

“Through his vision and effective management, George has helped transform the Land Trust into one of the most active and successful in the state,” the board said in a press release. The board said it was grateful for his service and dedication.
