Some delays, parking bans as storm moves through region
Some schools have closed or delayed classes while other towns have issued parking bans because of a small snowstorm hitting the region during the morning rush hour.
Norwich Free Academy made the call to close today, while Norwich Public Schools and Norwich Technical High School are on two-hour delays. Three Rivers Community College will be opening at 11 a.m.
Additionally, Ledyard, Montville, Norwich and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation have issued parking bans set to last at least through the morning.
While inland Connecticut could see 2 to 5 inches of snow, much of the shoreline has seen the snow transition to rain this morning.
